Shop accuracy begins with a benchmark straightedge as a surface reference. Our anodized 607mm (24") aluminium straightedge will not rust, and is wide enough to stand on an edge unsupported, so you have both hands free to make precise adjustments to your tools.
Extremely useful for setting up machines such as planers and jointers, the Veritas Straightedge is 44mm (1 3/4") high and 11mm (7/16") thick, and the reference edge is machined flat, within 0.076mm (0.003") over the entire length.
The straightedge features a hole in the end which allows for easy storage by hanging it on the wall, this way, its edges are kept safe away from other tools and objects that could cause them damage.
