Avoid the use of duct tape, small offcuts of hose, or worse, nothing at all. The Carbatec rubber collar connectors are a great addition to your existing network, to better seal those joins in fittings and where fittings are connected directly to your machinery. The dimensions of the collar are forgiving enough to take up some of the small variations in duct sizes, and being rubber, they seal extremely well, providing flexibility in a active workshop (where bumps and movement can cause joints to open or come apart).
This 2-1/2" fitting will easily accomadate fittings as small as 2-1/4", so makes a great adaptor for many benchtop machines and tools.
