This extension bed has dual functionality! It can be mounted inline with the standard bed, extending your between centre capacity to 1140mm (45"), for those extra-long spindle projects like table legs. Alternatively, it can be mounted below the headstock at the pre-drilled lower mounting position and, using the included tool rest extension bar and swivel head, can be used for outboard turning! This increases the bowl capacity to 720mm diameter (28").
