This spindle adaptor allows conversion from the global standard for full size lathes of 1-1/4" x 8TPI (as found on Nova 1624-44, Saturn, Galaxi, Orion and older models), to the quasi Australian M30 x 3.5 thread.

Features a grub screw to lock the spindle apadtor to your lathe. Should you already have a range of faceplates and similar equipment with direct thread M30 x 3.5, this adaptor will allow you to use these on the current model Nova lathes.

Note that chucks with M30 x 3.5mm inserts can have the insert of the chuck changed instead.
