There’s no better machine for making small or intricate projects, such as toys, puzzles, signs or ornaments, than a scroll saw!
The Carbatec SS-400H Scroll Saw features an integrated foot switch for hands-free switching and control, leaving your hands free to hold onto and guide your project.
Its 125W Induction motor drives the electronic variable speed feature, allowing you to adjust the scroll saw’s speed to suit the work at hand. Slow it down to 550 oscillations per minute for intricate detail work, or speed it up to 1600 oscillations per minute for basic curve work.
At 64 cm long and weighing only 10 kg, this scroll saw is small and light enough to put away when not in use. Its tilting table, which can tilt up to 45 degrees, allows you to adjust the working surface to the right angle for each project. Making angled cuts has never been more comfortable!
A flexible and detachable rotary tool is included to help you add some personal touches to your work. Sand, grind, and even drill some small starter holes so you can experiment with pinhole and intricate scrolling.
A set of rotary tools is also included, but you can add aftermarket burrs or drills as you need.
A small battery-operated LED light on a flexible arm illuminates the work area, and a dust blower keeps the area clear of wood dust while working. The 35 mm dust port connects straight into your dust control set-up, ensuring a safe, dust-free workshop.
This scroll saw has a maximum cutting depth of 50 mm and is suitable for use with pinned and pinless blades (we recommend Pegas Scroll Saw blades).
This unit features minimal vibration despite its lightweight construction.
