Carbatec Continuous Sweeping Clock Movement - 7mm Shaft

These new movements have a second hand that moves in a smooth continuous motion, rather than the stepping motion of most quartz movements. This change not only affects the appearance of the clocks you make, but continuous sweep movements also have the added benefit of being more quiet. You will not hear the "clicking" sound every second.

CHOICE of over 42 pairs of hour and minute hands & sweeping second hands available. You just have to tell us what you would like. Please do not assume that any clock hands you have will fit, as the mounting holes are not standardized.

These continuous sweep movements will operate a second hand, but second hands are considered optional. All models have a 5/16" (7.94mm) shaft diameter so a 3/8" (9.53mm) mounting hole is the correct size to drill in your case.

• Length of threaded section of the spindle is 5/16 inch or 7.94mm
• For use on a board up to 1/4 inch or 6.35mm thick
• Total length of spindle is 5/8 inch or 15.88mm
• The shaft diameter is 5/16 inch (7.94mm) so use a 9mm or 3/8 inch drill.
