Pfeil Numbers 6, 7 and 8 chisels all feature a concave profile, these are a continuation in profiles from Numbers 2, 3, 4 and 5.
The Number. 7 Gouge is medium gouge with a straight shank, and is the beginning of the real gouge profiles, offering width and depth.
Swiss made Pfeil chisels come sharpened and are completely ready for use, regular honing is recommended to maintain the best edge for carving. They are constructed with chrome vanadium alloy that is made to Pfeil's own specifications.
