This tool will hold an edge well but is easy to sharpen, especially when combined with the Accu-Burr Carbide Burnishing tool which makes quick work of turning an edge burr.But what is a Flux-Cl Magnetic finger saver? Well, as anyone who has used a cabinet scraper knows, the friction in use can cause the tool to heat up quite quickly and get uncomfortably hot under finger or thumb. The Flux-Cl is simply a thick magnet that you can place on the scraper where your fingers or thumbs rest. It is flexible enough not to impede flexing for use, but is remarkably effective at dispersing heat build up, enabling longer scraping sessions, more comfortably. A delightfully simple solution!The Accu-Burr Scraper is 152 x 63 x 0.63 mm (6" x 2-1/2" x 0.025") and sold individually, including a single Accu-Burr Flux-Cl magnet.
