Liberons Blonde De-waxed Shellac Flakes produce a transparent coloured French Polish which is often used in antique restoration or bespoke production of furniture. Add 250 g of Blonde De-waxed Shellac Flakes to 1 L of methylated spirit and allow the shellac flakes to soak for a minimum of 24 hours, or until all the shellac flakes have dissolved. Stir or shake occasionally to help the shellac flakes to dissolve more easily. More shellac flakes or methylated spirit may be added to adjust the strength to your personal preference.
