Carbatec Threaded Insert 5/16" Internal Thread

Carbatec's range of quality hardware knobs, handles, inserts and bolts, are perfect for shop made custom jigs, creating purpose-built hold downs, slides, tools and many other handy inventions in your workshop. They are also great for topping up your jig hardware kits, or replacing the odd lost knob or T Bolt from many different accessories. Available in small pack sizes (quantity depending on type of hardware). These threaded inserts have a coarse outer thread that hold well in softwood, hardwood and man-made sheet products, and a fine threaded internal hole that matches perfectly to our jig hardware knobs and T Bolts. Pre drill your holes, and thread in these inserts with our matching insert tool (sold separately). These inserts feature a 5/16" x 18TPI internal thread and require an approximate 9. 5 mm drilled hole (check hole size depending on your material)
