The blade is forged from high-quality Cr-V steel, cryogenically processed and tempered to at least 62 HRc. Cryogenic treatment cools the steel to extremely low temperatures, enhancing hardness and durability. The blade is fully ground and polished with super-thin sides suitable for precise work. The handle is made from domestic hard ash, sanded and hand-polished, and includes a solid stainless steel ferrule. Each chisel is marked with the trademark RICHTER EXTRA.
