Robert Sorby ProEdge Trizact Belt - 600 grit - Perhaps our most popular range of belts this robust material is designed to handle the demands of all steels.
Trizact belts are ideally suited for the sharpening and honing of stainless steel, chromium, nickel and cobalt-based materials, featuring microscopic three-dimensional structures resembling pyramids.
Not strictly grit sizes, these belts are built using brick and pyramid abrasive shaping. The highest 3000 grit size will sharpen to two microns (the same sharpness as a disposable razor blade) and provide a factory finish on all steels, with the 1200 grit belt getting the edge used to prepare the edge or bevel ready for the final honing, and the 600 grit belt able to shape the bevel and remove any knicks and burrs.
