Rockler's 48" Sure-Foot Aluminium Bar Clamp will keep you clamping woodwork projects for many years to come.The strong Acme Thread provide ample strength when clamping, with the aluminium bar preventing the black staining that can occur when using steel bodied clamps. The depth of the bar resists bending under pressure. Spring loaded rear faces positively engage and are easily adjusted inwards toward the workpiece, and away afterwards.Clamp faces are pre-drilled for adding shopmade pads to protect the workpiece or be used with jobs that are not perpendicular to the clamp. The wide clamp base ensure a good stable clamp, and even has a lip moulded into it for clever storage by hanging them when not in use. The height of the clamp allows plenty of clearance for the handle.
