The Minimax FS 41E Planer-Thicknesser is a highly flexible woodworking machine that delivers elite finishing. It features an "Xylent" cutterhead for exceptional results and reduced noise. The planer unit has a standard 87 mm diameter cutter block with three knives. The machine allows for adjustable pressure on the thicknesser feed rollers and has a rigid and smooth planing fence. The "Xylent" spiralknife cutter block produces small chips, improving dust extraction and extending the cutter block's lifespan.

Perfect finishing: The planer unit stands on cast iron supports and the standard version has a 87 mm diameter cutter block with the SCM 'Xylent' Helical cutterhead system. For an impeccable finish, the pressureof the thicknesser feed rollers can be adjusted according to the type of wood machined. The infeed roller has a helicoidal profile to guarantee firm and constant work piece feed, while the outfeed roller, in sandblasted steel, maintains the perfect post-processing finishing.
Xylent Helical cutter block with 3 rows of knives: The 3 row spiral knives give an exceptional finish. Reduced noise during machining provides a more comfortable working environment. It also improves the dust extraction due to the production of very small chips. Each cutter has 4 tips which can be rotated into the cutting position when worn. Therefore increasing the production life of the cutter block before knives require replacement.
Planing fence: The fs 41e uses a dedicated planing fence extremely rigid and smooth, thanks to a support with central round bar.
