The Veritas router plane is an invaluable tool for work on stopped or through dadoes, checkouts and grooves, or any work that requires a consistent depth of cut. The blade depth is controlled by a fine screw feed that travels 1/32" (0.8mm) per turn for precise adjustment, with the resulting depth of cut controlled by a locking depth stop.
Made to the same high standards as our other planes, the ductile cast iron body has been accurately machined and ground flat. The large wooden knobs are positioned to provide both comfort and excellent control.
Two high-carbon steel cutters are supplied, a two piece 1/2" straight blade, and a two piece 1/2" spear point blade for final smoothing, with a blade sharpening jig is also included.
The included fence made of stainless steel and aluminium, can be positioned on either side of the plane and will work on both straight and curved pieces. Weight is 1Kg.
Made in Canada (except for blades). Patented.
