The Veritas Rip Tenon Saw is the largest handsaw in the Veritas line – and now it’s also the smallest!
At just 7" (~178mm) long, this fully functional miniature rip tenon saw is made at about 1/3 the scale of its full-size counterpart. The high-carbon steel blade is just shy of 5 1/2" (139mm) long, with an effective cutting depth of just over 1-1/4" (31.75mm) and a nominal kerf width of 0.014" (~3.5mm). The 27 tpi ripping teeth have a 14° rake using the typical 60° included angle. As with the original, it has a moulded spine and closed handle with a walnut grip.
Made in Canada.
