The depth stop set from Wolfcraft enables you to obtain precise drill holes with the preset drilling depth. The set contains three depth stops in Ø 6, 8 and 10 mm, which are compatible with all commercially available wood twist drill bits in the matching diameters.
What sets Wolfcraft apart is the side clamping design, which is superior to the traditional single-point (grub screw) method. This prevents the stop skewing on the drill bit when tightened. Not only is it better for your drill bit (avoid those nasty gouges in the flute or, worse, the edge!), but you are able to obtain the desired drilling depth with millimetre precision without the stop shifting its position. The depth stops can be mounted on the drill bit quickly, simply and securely, and after you have set the drilling depth, you will be able to create a series of depth-restricted holes with confidence and precision.
