Carbatec have combined Rocklers Letter and Number Sign kits with a brass guide bush and 3/8" Core Box Bit into one kit, giving all that is needed to do signs quickly and easily. The individual templates fit together like a jigsaw puzzle to form a stable pattern. The brass guide bush when fitted to the base of a plunge router, fits into the template, and with the router on, it is plunged to a preset depth, and the template is followed creating the number, letter or symbol. A 12.7mm (1/2") diameter brass (RK-BUSH12 included) bush for best results.Masking tape or painters tape holds the templates down during the routing process, a 3/8" (9.5mm) ball nose bit (814-095-11 included) giving the most appropriate size and width letters for the height. The letters kit includes: Total of 40 letters with duplicates of common letters and three spacers. A, A, B, C, D, E, E, F, G, H, I, I, J, K, L, L, M, M, N, N, O, O, P, P, Q, R, R, S, S, T, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, , and three spacers. Number Symbols Kit includes: 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 0, 0, !, @, #, $, ', ?, ., / and . Correct alignment of the guide bush on the router base is very important.Staff recommendations:Buy two sets of the letter sets, doing signs and being short on a few letters to complete a word or name is frustrating.
